New York City Ballet: Katherine Brown, 55, was appointed executive director, a newly created position. She rejoins the ballet company Dec. 14 from WNYC Radio, where she had been chief operating officer. She previously served as a development executive at the ballet company from 1988 until 1993.
The Switzer Group: Lloyd G. Ware, 62, was appointed president of the newly formed health care division at the interior planning and design firm. He was previously a senior architect at Johnson & Johnson’s worldwide engineering and real estate group.
Jefferies: Thomas J. O’Leary, 47, joined the securities and investment banking firm as a managing director and head of international equity sales. He was formerly a managing director and head of international equities for the U.S. at J.P. Morgan.
EPIX: Laverne McKinnon, 44, was appointed executive vice president of original programming and development at the entertainment channel, video-on-demand and online service. She was previously at Shibui Entertainment, where she served as president and chief executive.
