TRACE ADKINS TO ACT IN "TOUGH TRADE"

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Trace Adkins has landed an acting role in a pilot for a TV series called “Tough Trade.” The series follows three generations of a troubled music dynasty in Nashville. Adkins plays a character named Scared. He’s a loyal friend of the family and a bodyguard to Sam Shepard’s character. Scared is described as both respected and feared throughout Nashville. It’s not known if Adkins will sing in the series. “Tough Trade” is for a new premium channel called Epix.
